Make your Mother’s Day gifts extra special with these free printable Mother’s Day gift tags!
Mother’s Day is one of those holidays that sneaks up on me…making me a less-than-awesome gifter some years.
If you’re like me and need a little help, I created some free printable Mother’s Day tags for you. That way, even if you throw a gift together at the last minute, you can still add that personal touch!
And because I’m extra generous (or more likely just indecisive), I created three different versions of these floral Mother’s Day tags. That means you get 24 different tag designs, for free!

Free Mother’s Day gift tag printables
With multiple tag variations and sentiments, you should be able to find a tag to use for any of the moms, grandmas, and women in your life!
These free printable gift tags include pastel florals, watercolor florals, and cheerful sunflowers (probably my favorite of the three). I’ve included Happy Mother’s Day gift tags, as well as some simpler tags that just say Mom or Mama. I’ve also included these sentiments: “to the best mom” and “love you”.
Each FREE printable PDF contains all 8 tag designs (get the free download at the bottom of this post). However, if there’s a particular design you’d like a full sheet of, you can purchase the full file that contains the mixed sheet as well as individual sheets of each tag (this is great for mass-producing Mother’s Day gifts for a community event, church organization, etc.).

Mother’s Day gift ideas to go with these free printable tags
If you’re in need of some easy gift inspiration for Mom or Grandma, these are some great options:
- a handmade button bouquet: it’s easier than you think, thanks to the step by step video tutorial!
- a yellow sunshine-themed gift: the sunflower tags would go perfectly with this
- a candy jar decorated with vinyl: I think the “emotional support candy” jar I made is funny, but you can easily customize with your own designs. I used a glass jar from the dollar store, but a mason jar would work too. Fill with mom’s favorite treats!
- a handprint keepsake: moms/grandmas always appreciate sweet handmade gifts like this from their children/grandchildren!
- tissue paper stained glass: would be a fun craft for kids to make and give
- a gift card for a pedicure or to a favorite store (gift cards may seem lazy, but sometimes they’re the perfect gift, honestly)
- a bouquet of flowers (classic)
- sweet treats: sugar is a great way to mom’s heart (speaking from experience)
- a gift certificate for a homemade meal cooked by you, a house cleaning, or anything else that shows your appreciation for all your wife/mom/grandma does for you!

How to use these free Mother’s Day printables

Tips for printing: Make sure your printer settings are set to scale 100% and print at a high quality. For best results, print on bright white cardstock.
Once printed, you can use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut the tags out. Write a heartfelt message on the back. Then punch a hole at the top of each tag with a hole punch and tie to your gift with a pretty ribbon, baker’s twine, or yarn.
More uses for these free printable gift tags
To get even more use out of these tags, trim them and attach to a handmade card (embellish with adhesive gems for extra texture). Or use a circle punch to cut out the sentiment and attach to a toothpick for an easy cupcake topper!
